TA2 Penetrating Hardner
  • TA2 Penetrating Hardener is a revolutionary product that incorporates advances in micro technology with conventional floor finishes. TA2 Penetrating Hardener is an impregnating formulation that is designed to penetrate into the existing floor seal and/or finish, chemically bond with it and physically change its properties when burnished.

  • When TA2 Penetrating Hardener is applied to floor finish it changes the molecular structure of the finish into an exceptionally hard film. The results are an extremely durable finish that will resist attack from the toughest soils, yet is flexible enough to respond to high-speed and ultra high-speed burnishing. By using TA2 Penetrating Hardener you can burnish the floor multiple times before additional product is required.
  • T-A2 Penetrating Hardener has exceptional slip resistance and has met the required standards for Coefficient of Friction in accordance with ASTM Designation 2047-99.

  • Directions for Use

Ensure floor surface has been cleaned prior to application.

  • Initial Maintenance

After applying multiple coats of Fusion Floor Seal/Finish, apply one coat of TA2 Penetrating Hardener and burnish.

  • Routine Maintenance

Apply TA2 Penetrating Hardener in traffic lanes after performing standard dry mopping, wet mopping or light scrubbing procedures, burnish to high gloss when dry.

NOTE: TA2 Penetrating Hardener only has to be applied to the traffic wear pattern when performing routine maintenance.

  • Periodic Maintenance

Machine scrub floor surface with rotary floor machine, apply applicable coats of floor finish for service procedure being performed, apply one coat of TA2 Penetrating Hardener and burnish to high gloss.

NOTE: For periodic maintenance TA2 Penetrating Hardener is applied over floor finish. It is not necessary to apply product over entire area, just enough to overlap the area where finish was applied.

  • Salvage/Restoration Maintenance

Strip and refinish service procedure.

Thoroughly dust the floor surface with dust mop to remove all dirt, dust and debris. Use putty and razor scrappers to remove gum, labels, tags or other items.

Mix High Voltage Stripper and water in accordance with manufacturers recommended dilution ratios (adjust mixture proportionate to stripping required).

Apply liberal amount of stripping solution to manageable floor area.

Allow solution to dwell for 10 minutes or more. Strip the area and remove contaminated solution. Detail the edges, corners and baseboards. Rinse floor with neutralizer/conditioner or fresh water. Be sure finish is removed and the floor is completely dry.

Apply multiple coats of Fusion Floor Seal/Finish to achieve desired gloss level, apply one coat of TA2 Penetrating Hardener and burnish to a high gloss.
