• Safety Step is a special formulation designed to combine cleaning and slip resistance in the same application.  

• Safety Step is an advanced cleaning chemical that is highly effective on all floor surfaces combining neutral cleaner and conditioners for the complete floor care program.  

• As a cleaning chemical, Safety Step is effective at removing light to moderate soil without dulling the shine or damaging the floor finish.

• Safety Step is formulated with advanced technology that allows the product to clean and condition the floor in one easy step and provide exceptional slip resistance at the same time.  

• As a conditioner Safety Step responds exceptionally well to high-speed and ultra high-speed burnishing.

• Directions for use

Before use, ensure floor surface has been swept, dust mopped or vacuumed to remove dry soil. Safety Step can be applied with mop bucket and wringer or used in automatic scrubbing machine.

• Initial Maintenance

Improve slip resistance by mixing Safety Step ½ - 1 ounce per gallon in mopping solution or automatic scrubbing machine.

• Daily Routine Maintenance

Mix Safety Step ½ - 1 ounce per gallon and mop floor to remove superficial soil and treat floor on a routine basis. Use in automatic scrubbing machine in conjunction with white or red pad when light scrubbing. Burnish to desired gloss.

• Periodic Maintenance

Mix Safety Step1 - 1½ ounces per gallon for machine scrubbing moderate to heavy soils. Apply solution with mop bucket and mop or with automatic scrubbing machine. Agitate the solution with white or red pad and remove solution with wet vacuum or automatic scrubbing machine. Burnish to desired gloss.

• Salvage/Restoration Maintenance

Safety Step is not an effective chemical for salvage/restorative maintenance. Use Advantage All-Purpose Cleaner for cleaning surfaces without finish. Use Nytro Degreaser for difficult petroleum or cooking grease removal. Use High Voltage Stripper for floor seal and/or finish removal.

CAUTION: Prevent accidents before they happen, before performing any wet service procedure set a safety parameter using wet floor cones, signs, placards, and/or caution tape. Notify personnel in facility that services are being performed.
